‘Our favourite attitude should be gratitude’ – Free Gift For A Friend Competition

Yes, that is right … this is not a scrapbooking competition, but an idea I have had for a while. I truly believe that ‘being grateful’ changes the way we look at life, things and most importantly, people. So … what is this competition about?

Well … we are all going to practice a little gratitude. I am in no way suggesting you aren’t grateful, but if you’re anything like me, you might take people for granted from time to time and you might forget to thank important people for the blessing that they are to you.

I am giving away a FREE prize again (I really have way too much scrapbooking products and need to find a good home for them). In the ‘comment area’ of this post, you can leave a comment with the name of a person/ good friend/ family member, who deserves to win this prize. If possible, please mention something about that person that you are grateful for.

Make sure that your friend wouldn’t mind you sharing this information, okay … if you just want to mention a name, that is fine too, but I think it would be nice to add a ‘little extra’ as well.

You can leave a comment until November 30, 2009. All comments will be numbered. On December 1, 2009 I will use the lovely Random Number generator site to pick a number. The winning comment will be announced and the prize will be posted to the friend mentioned in that comment (once again, please make sure your friend doesn’t mind giving a postal address). And ... yes, this is open to anyone, anywhere in the world!

This is the gift that your friend can win:

  • Alphabet Stickers from Imaginisce
  • Rubons (three packs one from KaiserCraft and two from TLC)
  • Roller Doodles from Glitz Design (three different ones: 'Thank You', 'Curls' and 'Numbers')
  • Wooden Christmas words (KaiserCraft)
  • Chipboard 'Fascinating' from Pink Paisley

And please … spread the word of this post (feel free to use the picture at the top of this post for that) … you might even get a friend to ‘recommend’ you … LOL …

Becky added my competition to her site :-) ...

I asked Becky Fleck from PageMaps to add my little competition to her site, since we are using once of her sketches after all and there are a lot of international visitors to her site ... I just got a confirmation email from her about it ... Click HERE to see if for yourself ...

Winner will be randomly chosen ...

As the title says, I have decided to randomly choose the winner for the competitions instead of having to collect votes. I think it is fair to have an equal chance for everyone, don't you think? I will use the Random site to determine who will get the prizes, okay? Every entry will get a number and the site will determine which number wins!

November 2009 Competition - based on Pagemaps sketch

Don't you all just LOVE the sketches from Becky Fleck? Her site 'PageMaps' has been one of my favourites since I started scrapping years ago! So ... what do you have to do? Create a layout based on Becky's sketch below and email it to me before midnight on the 30th of November, 2009. I will add all entries on this blog. At this stage I am not sure how to determine a winner yet, but by the end of this month I will surely have figured something out!

I have a nice prize pack for the winner (to see the pack, please check another post on this blog).

IMPORTANT: this competition is open to ANYONE, ANYWHERE in the world!!! It doesn't matter if you live in the US, Europe, Australia ... I will post it to you regardless where you live!

So ... what are you waiting for? Look at the sketch and start scrapping! Have fun,

Welcome to my scrapbooking competitions blog!

I am planning to run at least one competition each month. There will be different challenges to be done and different prizes to be won! I will post the first competition for the month November in the next day or two ...
