Two more layouts ...

Natasja sent me this adorable layout with beautiful details! I love the stitching and the details ...Thanks, Natasja!

Yvonne made this layout about her little boy, who was watching his sister looking for Easter eggs. Gorgeous photo and layout, Yvonne!

I received a layout from Nathalie, whol lives in Mauritius ...

Wow ... when Nathalie sent me her work, she mentioned that she lives in Mauritius ... I'd love to go there for a holiday ... such a beautiful place! This is what she wrote:

'My name is Nathalie, I live in Mauritius and I have been scrapping since only about a year, but think it is the best hobby ever! And it absolutely fits into what I like: papers and photos! It also has the bonus of making us work with our memories, very important for me at the moment as I have a little girl of 9 months. I discovered your site a few days ago through PageMaps and I therefore decided to have a go at the sketch you chose for this month, which is absolutely lovely. I usually only scrap in A4 format, I hope this is fine for your site.'

I love the layout and the format doesn't matter ... and I accept both digital and traditional layouts too .. This blog is really made 'just for fun and inspiration' ... so almost anything goes ... Anyway, here is Nathalie's layout:

January 2010 Chipboard Competition

If you are anything like me, you will have a lot of chipboard in your scrapbooking stash. Most manufacturers make chipboard embellishments and a year or two ago, I bought every chipboard alphabet, swirl, tag, shape etc. that I could get. Chipboard is very versatile and can be used in many different ways; plain, distressed, painted, covered with paper, stamped, embossed etc.

So ... the competition is very, very easy and I am hoping for a lot of entries this month. Here are the details of the chipboard competition for this month:

  • Create a project (the can be a layout, a card, an OTP, a tag, an ATC etc.) with a minimum of three different pieces of chipboard on it.
  • A chipboard title counts as one piece otherwise it will be too easy, right?
  • Email me a picture of your project (if you want you can also include a picture or two with close up details) before midnight on the 31th of January, 2010.
  • The winner will be announced in the first days of February 2009. The winner will be determined by the Random Number Generator. Each project will get a number, which can be seen on the January 2010 slideshow on the right.
  • Don't forget: please mention a link to your blog, so I can link the project to your own blog!

The winner will win a mixed chipboard pack (what else did you expect?) with the following products:

  • Brackets Chipboard (TLC)
  • Buckles / Photo Corners Chipboard (TLC)
  • Flowers (Chipboard)
  • Big Flourish Chipboard (TLC)
  • Chipboard Rectangle Album (Maya Road)
  • Heart Chipboard Book (Maya Road)
  • Christian Chipboard Cross (Scripture By Design)
  • Chipboard Journaling Plaques (Lil’Davis Designs)
  • Chipboard Circles Every Day Moments (Scenic Route)
  • Round Corner Flourish Chipboard (Buzz and Bloom)
  • Chipboard Pack with 47 pieces (Bella!)

IMPORTANT: this competition is open to ANYONE, ANYWHERE in the world!!! It doesn't matter if you live in the US, Europe, Australia ... I will post it to you regardless where you live!

January 2010 PageMaps Sketch Competition

The PageMaps sketch competitions have proven to be populair by the visitors of this blog. Therefore it seems logical to have another PageMaps sketch competition this month!

Create a layout based on Becky's sketch below and email a picture of your layout (if you want you can also include another picture or two with details of your layout) to me before midnight on the 31th of January, 2010.

The winner will be announced in the first days of February 2009. The winner will be determined by the Random Number Generator. Each layout will get a number, which can be seen on the January 2010 slideshow on the right.

And don't forget: please let me know your blog address, so I can link the layout to you own blog!

IMPORTANT: this competition is open to ANYONE, ANYWHERE in the world!!! It doesn't matter if you live in the US, Europe, Australia ... I will post it to you regardless where you live!

The winner will receive the following prize pack:

• Bling Words Love (Heidi Swapp)
• Sun-Kissed Brads (Imaginisce)
• (Note)Worthy Blossoms (Making Memories)
• Flower Mirror (Buzz and Bloom)
• Love & Kisses Mirror (Buzz and Bloom)

• White Acrylic Bird (Buzz & Bloom)
• Vintage Wood Words Feelings (Lil’Davis Designs)
• Vintage Wood Words Baby Boy (Lil’Davis Designs)
• Fascinating Chipboard Embellishments (Pink Paislee)

The winners of the two December competitions are ...

Corinne (sketch competition) and Maja (stamp competition). Congratulations!

I used the Random Number generator to determine the winner of our two competitions. I believe it is fair to all have a chance of winning; whether you are an experienced scrapper or stamper or not.

There were 14 entries for the sketch competition and 9 for the stamp competition. If you want to see the number of your entry, you can look at the slide show on the right side of this blog. I give each entry a number at the time I receive them.

The competitions for January 2010 will be posted later today or tomorrow!
